2002 Air Taxi Rates

Between the Lodge and Denali National Park	$90 (approx. 25-min. flight)
Between the Lodge and Fairbanks	$250

Air Taxi rates include one-way flight to or from lodge and airport. Prices are listed one way to offer guests additional flexibility in trip planning. Complimentary van shuttle is available between Denali airstrip and Denali Park entrance area hotels and train depot. Fairbanks/Lodge rates are based on at least three passengers per flight starting or ending in Fairbanks. Early and Late Season discounts do not apply to Air Taxi rates. Fuel surcharges may apply.

2002 Horseback Riding Rates

First 2-hour ride	$30
Additional 2-hour ride	$60

    All horseback rides are led by our experienced wranglers. You may reserve one ride per person when you book your lodge package. Additional rides may be booked while at the lodge on a space available basis. Some rides may not be suitable for all ages. Early and Late Season discounts do not apply to Horseback Riding rates.

Denali Backcountry Safari (Five-day Denali Itinerary)

June: 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19, 20, 23, 26, 27, 30

July: 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 21, 24, 25, 28, 31

August: 1, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 18, 21, 22, 25, 28, 29

September: 1, 4, 5, 8

(Note: above departures are on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Trip cost: US currency $2095 plus tax / per person based on double occupancy

Early and Late Season discounts: Save $100 per person on June 5, 6 and Sept 1, 4, 5, and 8 departures

Triple and Quad (when available) deduct $50 per person

Single add 50% to cost of double

Add an extra night at Denali Wilderness Lodge for $340 per person

 

Payments and Policies

Reservations

    You should reserve your space as soon as possible to secure the trip date most desired. We start taking reservations one year in advance. Reservations may be made by phone and will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit. Please appreciate that our deposit and cancellation policies are necessary due to our extremely short season and the nature of our high quality, low volume facilities.

Payments

    For payments, we accept checks, MasterCard, and Visa. (For Denali Backcountry Safari payments and cancellation policies please visit the Denali Backcountry Safari page.)

At 60 days	Final payment due
Within 60 days of arrival date	100% of total per person

    Reservations made within 60 days must be guaranteed with Visa or MasterCard immediately after receiving verbal confirmation from our office. Late payments may result in releasing your reservation, and re-booking will then be subject to availability. A $50 per person change fee will apply.

Cancellations

    Written cancellation must be received by our sales office in order for the cancellation to be valid.

Non-appearance for programs will result in no refund. While we understand that emergency cancellations may occur, it is very difficult for us to re-sell cancelled space because of our remote location.

We highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance

Refunds

    Requests for refunds should be directed in writing to the agency that sold you the program. No refunds will be made on individual features voluntarily omitted by the guest. No refunds for unused services will be issued.

Disclaimer of Liability

    Denali Wilderness Lodge reserves the right to make changes and alterations as may be necessary for safety and proper handling of trips. We spare no effort to assure a safe trip; however, outdoor activities of this nature are not entirely "risk free." We cannot assume responsibility for injury to participants or personal belongings or for time or expense incurred. You will be required to fill out an acknowledgment of risk form. Upon advancement of deposit to Denali Wilderness Lodge, the depositor agrees to be bound by all of the above. Denali Wilderness Lodge is not responsible for cost of delays resulting from weather, poor flying conditions, or acts of God.
